Every driver sees a different part of the road. Driver’s Eyes™ is being developed to bring those perspectives together.
Traditional navigation can tell us where to go and estimate when we will arrive.
But when traffic suddenly slows, a lane disappears, roadworks change the road layout, an accident blocks traffic, weather affects conditions, or something unexpected happens ahead, drivers are often left asking:
What is happening? Why is it happening? What should I do next?
Driver’s Eyes™ is being developed to reduce that uncertainty.
The concept combines intelligent software, AI-assisted road understanding, and connected camera-based observation to identify and interpret changing road conditions. Information collected from participating vehicles can contribute to a broader shared understanding of what is happening across the road network.
Instead of one vehicle seeing one isolated event, the long-term vision is for many individual perspectives to contribute to a continuously updated picture of the road.
